PADI Open Water Diver
If you want to become a certified diver, the PADI Open Water Diver is perfect for you.
The Open Water certification is the first autonomous scuba certification level, which means that you don’t need the supervision of a dive professional. You will also be able to dive to a max. depth of 18 meters / 60 feet.
The Open Water Diver is the most popular entry level scuba certification in the world and will open up many dive sites for you to explore and have fun!
How long does it take?
3 DAYS
This is a 3-day course that is divided into 3 parts:
Knowledge Development: you will begin by completing the PADI eLearning from the comfort of your home without wasting time with classroom presentations during your vacation. We will send you your PADI E-Learning Material ahead of time.
Confined Water: in your first day you will complete 5 confined water dives with your instructor.
Open Water: afterwards, you will get on board one of our boats to do 4 open water dives with your instructor.
This course will allow you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters / 60 feet.
Add the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty to your package and learn how to glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought.

Available for ages 10 and up, it's the perfect experience for the whole family!
Scuba diving is an excellent option for couples! You always need a buddy to help you with your gear and share new adventures and experiences.

about the PADI Open Water Diver

YES! We will dedicate one instructor exclusive to your course and the maximum size of the group is 6 people.

YES! You will use the BCD to help you float at the surface, but it is very important that you feel comfortable in the water. Also, in order to get your certification you will need to complete a 200 meters swim test.

The Scuba Diver certification is the first scuba certification level, allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters / 40 feet under the supervision of a dive professional.

Minimum 10 years old
Medical Form: You need to fill out a medical questionnaire. With any “Yes” response you will need a medical clearance to diving. You can acquire this at home or here on the Island at least one day prior to your dive. Ask us for the form!
